Congratulations on the half-way point! 2K a day is totally doable!

This time last week, I was 21/2 ahead of schedule, word count wise. Then I hit of wall of barely being able to
write 100 words a day (and that was a struggle-- like trying to swim through brick). And I fell 21/2 days behind.

I got precisely on target (16,008) at just about midnight, last night.

(big sigh of relief).

My problem is, now, that I'm over 75% of my way through the wordcount (and already past 100 pages). But I'm only about halfway through my plot. This happened in both my NaNos, too.

The goal is to write a complete story (Script or Novel) of X words, not half a story of 2X words... So, for my Nanos, I ended up clipping plot points and tacking on a lousy ending, just so I could type "The End" and say I'd won.

I don't want to do that to my script (I actually have someone in mind whom I want to read it, when it's past the draft stage). But I've fought hard for every one of those words, and there's no time to trim the fat, now... So, now, in addition to reaching a word count goal each day, I'll strive to reach goals of completing certain scenes each day.
